XVIIe Colloque international de paléographie latine

Le XVIIe Colloque du Comité International de Paléographie Latine se tiendra à Ljubljana, Slovénie,
du 7 au 10 septembre 2010.

Il aura pour thème:
Les autographes du Moyen Âge

A travers l'étude d'une série représentative de cas particuliers, le colloque se propose d'envisager l'ensemble des problèmes posés par les manuscrits autographes (entendus au sens strict de manuscrits dont l'auteur et le copiste sont une seule et même personne) dans les domaines de la paléographie, la codicologie, la transmission, la diffusion et l'édition des textes médiévaux.

The Seventeenth Colloquium of the Comité International de Paléographie Latine will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia,
on 7 – 10 September 2010.

The theme will be:
Autograph Manuscripts of the Middle Ages

Through the study of a representative panel of individual cases, the Conference will address the wide range of problems that arise from autograph manuscripts (i.e. strictly those whose author and copyist is one single person) in the fields of palaeography, codicology, the diffusion, transmission and scholarly edition of medieval texts.

Une session d'affiches hors thème permettra aux jeunes chercheurs de faire connaître leurs travaux.

An off-side Poster Session will give younger scholars the opportunity of publicising their researches.

Afin de combler le retard pris lors de la publication du numéro précédent, la Gazette du livre médiéval a réuni dans un fascicule double (n° 52-53) les deux livraisons de l'année 2008.
Le rythme semestriel des parutions sera rétabli à partir du prochain numéro.

In order to make up for the delayed coming out of the previous issue, Nos. 52 and 53 of the Gazette du livre médiéval have been merged into a single fascicle.
A regular, semestral issuing pace will be restored with the next issue.

Assemblée générale de l'Association, Londres, 3 septembre 2008

L'Assemblée générale s'est tenue à Londres, le 3 septembre 2008, à l'occasion du XVIe Colloque international de paléographie latine.

L'Assemblée a pris acte de l'adoption des nouveaux statuts, approuvés par l'unanimité des membres lors de la consultation électronique organisée en juin-juillet.

En application de ces statuts, elle a procédé à la répartition des fonctions au sein du Modéramen. Celui-ci se compose désormais de :

The General Assembly was held in London, on September 3, 2008, in occasion of the XVIth International Colloquium on Latin Palaeography.

The Assembly acknowledged the adoption of the new Statute, unanimously approved by the Members in the electronic polling that took place in June and July.

In accordance with this Statute, the charges were distributed among the Members of the Moderamen. The Moderamen will henceforth consist of :

Le XVIe Colloque international de paléographie latine, organisé par l'Institute of English Studies, University of London, s'est tenu à Londres, du 2 au 5 septembre 2008. Les travaux avaient pour thème :

The 16th Colloque international de paléographie latine, organised by the Institute of English Studies, University of London, was held in London, on 2-5 September 2008. The papers focused on :

Election du Modéramen de l'Association (juin-juillet 2008)

En application des nouveaux statuts, l'Association procède actuellement à l'élection de son comité de direction (Modéramen), qui sera investi lors de la prochaine Assemblée générale (Londres, septembre 2008) et restera en fonction jusqu'en 2013.

Tous les membres sont invités à prendre part à cette consultation. Un bulletin de vote électronique est disponible sur ce site (accès réservé).

In accordance with the new Statute, the Association is currently organizing the election of its directing committee (Moderamen), who will be invested in the next General Assembly (London, September 2008) and will remain in charge until 2013.

All members are requested to take part in this consultation. An electronic ballot-form is provided on this Website (restricted access).

En hommage à la mémoire de son président-fondateur prématurément disparu, le Modéramen a décidé de fonder une dotation annuelle destinée à encourager le progrès des études paléographiques et codicologiques.	In Memory of their untimely deceased Founder and President, the Moderamen have decided of the foundation of a semestral grant to foster the progress of Palaegraphical and Codicological Research..

Les Assemblée générales d'APICES et du CIPL se sont tenues au cours du Colloque de Vienne (voir ci-dessous).

APICES :

Conformément aux (anciens) statuts, l'Assemblée générale a débattu du projet de réforme des statuts et décidé de le soumettre prochainement au vote définitif des membres (avec quelques modifications mineures).
Les nouveaux statuts devraient prendre effet à partir de la prochaine Assemblée générale, qui se tiendra lors du prochain Colloque international (2007 ou 2008).
Jusqu'à cette date, l'intérim est confié au Modéramen en place.

APICES and CIPL held their General Assemblies in the occasion of the Conference in Vienna (see below).

APICES :

In accordance with the (ancient) Statute, The General Assembly discussed the proposed reform of the Statute and decided to submit it shortly to the Members' final vote (with a few, minor changes).
The new Statute should take effect from the next General Assembly, to be held at the forthcoming International Conference (2007 or 2008).
Until then, the Moderamen in charge will assume the interim.

L'organisation était assurée par la Kommission für Buch- und Schrifwesen des Mittelalters de l'Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften, sous l'égide du CIPL.
